Steps to Enrollment
After you have completed the orientation and assessment
tests, you will be ready to select your classes. You may have to wait
for your registration date, which Admissions and Records will mail
or e-mail to you shortly after processing your application. You will
need a schedule of classes, which will take you through the process
of touch
tone (Telephone Registration) phone or web
registration.
You will begin by either logging on to the Web Advisor web site or
calling the touch tone phone registration number. You will need to
know either your social security number or your college ID number
as well as your PIN number, which Admissions and Records will send
you along with your registration date. The web site or touch tone
registration system will take you through simple steps culminating
in your selecting your courses by entering the 5-digit course reference
numbers.
Tips for Successful Registration
- To ensure that your registration is completed, don't
hang up until the very end, when the telephone registration system says
"goodbye."
- If a class you really want is full, you still may get
a spot by "crashing" the class, which means you simply show
up the first day and see if the instructor is adding students.
- You must clear any prerequisites before registering
for a class. You can do this by submitting high school or college
transcripts to the assessment office, located in the counseling
building. For additional information about clearing prerequisites,
please call the assessment office at 741-2035.
